  New NVR legal video targets resources for real estate disputes  
 

The video in the adjacent link addresses resources for the 20,000-plus NVR members statewide aimed at resolving real estate disputes. A myriad of resources exist to help REALTORS in the Silver state. Some are offered by us, your state association. Others are offered by Nevada's real estate division and yet others come from a variety of other sources.

  Warning: Fake Insurance Calls  
 

Be Aware of Unsolicited Phone Calls Claiming to Represent "NAR Health Insurance"

Members of the National Association of REALTORS® have reported receiving unsolicited phone calls claiming to represent "NAR health insurance." These calls and texts do not originate from NAR. In addition, NAR does not sell or provide our members telephone numbers to any third party vendors, including our Member Benefit Partners.

The association won't make unsolicited calls to enroll you in an insurance program or otherwise solicit your personal information. Members may access information about the insurance products available through the REALTOR Benefits® Program. For more details and to read the complete article click here.

I've been thinking about our culture's hostility to established knowledge as I fight to defend my own career and the careers of my colleagues, the nation's 1.5 million REALTORS®. I spent months studying to become a real estate agent.
