In case you missed it, the much needed, highly anticipated, newest edition of the Nevada Real Estate Division's Law and Reference Guide is here! The Guide is a prominent resource for not only those within the real estate profession, but it's also widely consulted by real estate attorneys within the Silver State.

  NAR reveals annual 30-under-30 honorees  
 

Southern Nevada REALTOR takes home Web Choice Award

Whether they're educating underserved populations on the homebuying process, taking a professional leap by starting their own brokerage, proving their expertise to land investor clients, or advocating for mental health resources, this year's class of 30 Under 30 have proven that they put 100% of their effort into every challenge they undertake. As housing advocates, these 30 young professionals are empowering their sphere to access housing. 

More than 300 young real estate practitioners applied for 30 Under 30 this year. In early March, a panel of judges narrowed the field to 50 finalists. Then, from March 14-18, members of the public cast a total of 41,109 votes during the week-long Web Choice Award voting period. With 2,848 votes, Bri Brenkus of Keller Williams the Marketplace in Henderson, Nev., came out on top as the Web Choice winner, solidifying her place in the 30 Under 30. The other 29 honorees were selected by judges from the field of 50 finalists. View the full list here.

  NAR, VA release video series to help veterans achieve homeownership  
 

The National Association of Realtors®, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, has released a two-part educational video series on the VA Home Loan Guaranty Program, designed to help Realtors® better serve veteran and active duty homebuyers achieving homeownership with VA loans.

For these discussions, 2022 NAR President Leslie Rouda Smith is joined by John Bell III, Acting Executive Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs Loan Guaranty Service, and Mark Worrilow, licensed broker at Fathom Realty's Prince William-Fairfax office in Virginia and instructor for NAR's Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification.
