NAR annual will not be in Las Vegas in 2023

Formula 1 race forces conference venue change; Anaheim will serve as '23 host

Message on The Hub from 2023 NAR President Kenny Parcell: I would like to share an update regarding the status of 2023 NAR NXT. Over recent days, our leadership team and relevant NAR staff have been working to address a development with significant implications on the location of next year's conference. In short, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have come to the decision that it will be necessary to relocate 2023 NAR NXT from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Anaheim, California.

Although our contract with the Las Vegas hotel properties was signed in 2014, a Formula One Race was recently scheduled that will occur over the same period as our conference. Given this unexpected-and sudden-development, I am proud to say that NAR's Meetings & Events, and Legal teams have acted swiftly and skillfully to secure an efficient, immediate transition of the event from Las Vegas to Anaheim.   Real estate market is not In free fall ... and this is why

NAR article from 'The Lounge' at YPN.Realtor

Reading recent headlines, you'd assume that the real estate market was about to collapse and, with Forbes reporting that the industry is already in "free fall," you'd be right to have your reservations. Before you panic, it's important to take stock of the factors currently impacting the market and rest assured that its foundation remains intact.

Although it's undeniable that the real estate market is wrestling with lingering supply chain issues, as well as less-than-ideal interest rates, the industry is far stronger than it was a decade ago. Since 2012, the number of new home constructions has risen roughly 67% and homes are still selling quickly, averaging 17 days on the market according to NAR's most recent existing home sales report.
