Consumers, Tell Albany: Let C-Stores Sell Ready-to-Drink Cocktails

New York law stops convenience stores from selling spirits-based ready-to-drink cocktails, even though malt-based versions with the same alcohol content are already on shelves.

This outdated rule:

  • Limits your choices when you shop
  • Sends you to other stores just to find the same type of drink
  • Keeps prices and competition in check by giving liquor stores exclusive access to these products

You should have the freedom to buy what you want, where it’s convenient.

Lawmakers pay attention to voters in their districts. If enough people speak up, they will act.

Tell your legislators to vote YES on A6931B/S6703. It takes one click and helps:

  • Expand your options at local stores
  • Make shopping faster and more convenient
  • Update New York’s alcohol laws to reflect today’s market
