The bill would significantly improve the ability of veterans to access PACE, as it would require every Veterans Affairs Medical Center within the geographic service area of a PACE program or programs to establish a formal partnership with them.

The House of Representatives passed its version of the Dole Act, H.R. 542, on December 5. NPA understands the Senate is unlikely to consider the Dole Act by itself, but rather as part of a larger package of veterans bills, currently being assembled by both the Senate and House Veterans' Affairs Committees. Negotiations are expected to conclude soon.

In the meantime, it is important that as many Senators show their support for the Dole Act as possible by becoming cosponsors. Take action NOW and ask your Senators to cosponsor S. 141!
