Urge the U.S. Senate to Protect Medicaid Against Federal Funding Reductions Now
On May 22, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which made notable, detrimental changes to Medicaid. NPA remains gravely concerned about the significant level of Medicaid reductions in the House version of H.R. 1.

The bill is now in the hands of the U.S. Senate, which is anticipated to make substantial changes in order to garner enough votes for passage. Senate GOP leaders have set July 4 as a target date for voting on H.R. 1.

It is essential that PACE Organizations urge their Senators to protect Medicaid NOW by opposing decreased federal funding and other changes, which would negatively impact older adults served by PACE.
