Credit card swipe fees continue to rise at an unsustainable rate – they’re up 70% since the pandemic. That’s because the credit card giants price-fix these fees for their issuing banks. The result is they gain huge profits, while Main Street businesses and everyday Americans lose.
It’s time for Visa and Mastercard to finally compete on credit card transactions. Contact your legislators today and tell them it’s time to vote YES on the Marshall-Durbin Amendment to lower credit card fees.
