Thank Legislators for Supporting PGCMLS' FY23 Federal Funding Request

The Prince George's County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS) needs your help! The Library recently requested $2.8 million in the FY23 federal budget for Rover: Library 2Go, a new mobile library vehicle that will provide library services and internet access in neighborhoods that do not have access to a permanent branch library. The county's congressional representatives--Senator Ben Cardin, Senator Chris Van Hollen, Leader Steny Hoyer, and Rep. Anthony Brown--have generously supported this community project proposal. The funding request is advancing to the final stages of review in the budget cycle. Library customers and supporters are encouraged to send thank you messages to these legislators, whose continued support is needed for the proposal to be funded. If it passes in Congress, it will also need to be signed into law by President Biden.
