Urge your members of Congress to prioritize public health funding in fiscal year 2026
As Congress works to finalize the remaining FY 2026 spending bills before a Jan. 30 deadline, we need to continue to advocate for robust funding for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Health Resources and Services Administration, the National Institutes of Health and other programs that address our ongoing public health needs.  The Trump administration has proposed a budget that would decimate our public health agencies' abilities to respond to emerging public health threats, fund public health research, and protect the public's health.

Tell your members of Congress to reject any proposed cuts to these agencies and stand up to any current or future attempts to weaken our public health system as they work to finalize the FY 2026 Labor-HHS-Education appropriations bill.
