For passenger rail, APTA urges full funding of the IIJA authorizations for the Federal-State Partnership for Intercity Passenger Rail and Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI) grant programs, as well as at least $500 million for Railroad Crossing Elimination grants to help address rail-related fatalities at the nation’s more than 200,000 highway-rail grade crossings.

Please send a message to your Members of Congress asking them to fully fund the public transit and passenger rail investments authorized by the IIJA.
