Help secure the Child Tax Credit for families!

Please join us in thanking Leader Thune for speaking out on the importance of the Child Tax Credit (CTC), and encourage him and Senator Rounds to continue standing for families in South Dakota! 

Leader Thune recently explained what's at stake: “…if we don’t extend the existing tax relief by the end of this year, then you will see the child tax credit go from a $2,000 child tax credit to $1,000 child tax credit. So every family in this country who has children would face, per child, a $1,000 tax increase.”

The tax credit has passed the U.S. House as a part of President Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill," and is now before the U.S. Senate. Please write a brief email to Senators Thune and Rounds and ask for their support in extending this critical tax break!

UPDATE: The current version of the CTC extension would increase the amount to $2,200, and many allies are encouraging the Senate to raise the amount to $2,500.
