We need your voice! Congress is considering legislation that would make college more expensive for tens of millions of Americans by cutting access to financial aid, spiking student loan payments, and eliminating basic protections for students against fraud.
Those cuts will translate into higher costs for you: reduced access to affordable student loans, more expensive student debt payments, and lost college dreams—all to fund tax cuts for the wealthy.
Fill out the form to tell your members of Congress to vote NO on harmful proposals that would:
- Spike student loan payments for tens of millions of borrowers, extend the maximum repayment term to 30 years, and eliminate financial hardship protections.
- Weaken or remove protections for students against misrepresentation and low-quality, high-cost programs, as well as guarding student veterans against aggressive recruitment by fraudulent institutions.
- Restrict access to graduate school by eliminating the Graduate PLUS loan program, which will force students to either borrow risky private loans or not pursue graduate education.
