This spring, TennCare awarded a new contract for managing the consumer direct option for members in the state's LTSS waivers (like ECF CHOICES or Katie Beckett). Consumer Direct TN (CDTN) took over the contract this summer, and the transition has been nothing short of a disaster, presenting mulitple crises for these members and families. From failure to pay workers, to paying the wrong rate, to disenrolling members - the list of issues is long. 

It is vital that TennCare step up and fix this mess - they must hold these members and their families harmless for the crisis, and they must appoint a member of senior leadership to take these issues seriously, to hold themselves accountable, and, ultimately, fix these problems.
