Urge your Senators to Invest $2.5 million for PA 211 in this year's State Budget!
On Tuesday, April 14th, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed their FY2026-2027 budget, which included the 33% increase to the PA 211 line-item to $1 million dollars. This funding level matches the proposed funding level in the Governor's Fy2026-27 budget, and we appreciate both the Governor and the House of Representatives recognizing the need for an increase.

However, there is still a lot of work to do. At this new funding floor, the service will remain statewide across the Commonwealth, but it would still not meet the demand that PA 211 is currently facing. At a line-item funding level of $1 million, PA 211 would still experience reduced service statewide, reduced service hours, and increased wait times due to not having adequate staffing.

The fight now moves into the Senate, where we still have a chance to encourage our Senators to increase funding to at least $2.5 million. Send a message to your Senators now!
