Protect November SNAP Benefits
As the government shutdown continues, millions of families who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) have lost access to critical nutrition support. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps over 40 million Americans afford groceries. November benefits have lapsed — leaving families to face hunger and hardship.

Even during a shutdown, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has the authority to deploy contingency funds and transfer additional resources to keep these programs running. Local United Ways can urge Congress and USDA to use every tool possible to ensure full November SNAP benefits.

Your advocacy can help ensure this essential program continues to support families and communities without interruption.
