The California legislature is considering a bill, SB 871, that mandates COVID vaccines for all school students and removes personal exemptions for any new mandates. Another bill, AB 1993, mandates that employers require employees to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19. SB 866 allows minors to consent to vaccinations without parental consent.

Everyone should have a right to make their own decisions about their health based on informed consent. Limiting a person's ability to make informed decisions about what gets put into their body violates medical ethics. The newly-approved COVID vaccines are not without risk. Severe allergic reactions have been reported at alarming rates. 

Write to the legislature and tell them to oppose these bills.
