ALERT: STOP Mask Mandates in American Schools! -- Contact your Governor today!

As the Delta variant gives way to an uptick in positive Covid cases (even for vaccinated Americans), the airwaves have become flooded once again with the same kind of conflicting reports and cherry-picked data that gave way to the prolonged lockdowns, restrictions, and government overreach that plagued our country throughout 2020.

And with the CDC's recent decision to abruptly reverse its guidance on masks, the Biden Administration appears prepared to embrace a return to mask mandates in every facet of Americans' lives -- including our children's classrooms.

But some elected officials are ready to fight back, and certain states' Governors have taken early action by signing executive orders to ban mask mandates in schools that receive state funding.

It's time for other states to follow their lead, but we need YOUR help to make it happen...

Can we count on you to contact your Governor, and ask him or her to issue an executive order banning intrusive mask mandates in your state's schools?

You can reach your Governor in one easy step using this simple contact form (see right) that we're making available here on LifeSite's Action Center.

With one click, your message is sent directly to their office without having to look up any contact details.

Then, please SHARE this important call to action with your friends and family members to spread the word across the country!

The fact of the matter is simple: Whether a minor is to wear a mask or not during school hours is up to his or her parents, not the government nor any school district. And with the lack of evidence that masks have proven a reliable preventative measure in terms of curbing Covid-19 over the course of the last year, there exists no strong rationale to force children to wear them during the fast-approaching new school year.

That's why individual states have already begun to take action on this front. In fact, several have already banned mask mandates in schools, including Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Utah.

In addition, Florida became the most recent state to issue such a ban when Governor Ron DeSantis signed an executive order blocking Florida schools that receive public funding from requiring their students wear masks, and reaffirming that parents (with the backing of the state's new Parents' Bill of Rights law) have the right to decide whether or not their children will wear face coverings when they return to school.

This proactive approach to the anticipated onslaught of new mask mandates, especially in schools, is exactly what we need to defend the constitutional rights of both parents and students.

Because the reality is simple: The original mask mandates were not effective in preventing the spread of Covid-19. In fact, the CDC itself acknowledged, up until 2020, that face coverings do little to block or slow viral contagion, as the masks are typically made of material which is incapable of successfully filtering out virus particles as they are too small to catch or obstruct.

But this general, longstanding guidance disappeared in the wake of the Covid outbreak last year, and since then, politicians have used intrusive mask mandates to divide and control the American population -- and not just those who haven't received the Covid vaccine, because the CDC is now advising that even those who've been vaccinated begin wearing masks all over again, too.

In addition, a study conducted by the CDC last fall -- before the vaccines hit the market -- showed that 85% of participants who tested positive for Covid reported always or regularly wearing masks at least two weeks prior to contracting the virus.

Not to mention that, for obvious reasons, schools cannot possibly expect young children to wear a mask as expected for an entire day in a consistent manner that would guarantee a lessened chance of transmission, and that's if there even was any empirical evidence that proves their effectiveness.

With that in mind, Gov. Ron DeSantis' executive order reaffirmed a simple societal premise: That parents are to remain the first and foremost authority over decisions pertaining their children's health and well-being, and that those rights don't somehow expire when a minor enters into a classroom.

Of course, this decision to put the rights of parents and students first hasn't been exempt from the anticipated blitz of politically-generated backlash that comes with the territory, but that doesn't change the fact that action must be taken as students across our country begin returning to school.

Children and students have been under enough duress and distress since 2020, and now's the time for America's governors to stand up for them (and their parents) by taking executive action, much like Florida's Gov. DeSantis, to prohibit schools from requiring masks as a condition to resume their normal education.

Please take a few minutes to contact your Governor today, and ask him or her to follow Gov. DeSantis' lead by taking executive action to prohibit schools from requiring students to wear masks when they return for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Thank you!
