Include the SUPER Act in the final version of Eco Dev Bill!
An Act relative to Social Work Uplifting Practices and Exam Removal (The SUPER Act) was included in the House's Economic Development Bill and now we need to advocate for its inclusion in the final version with the conference committee.

Has Three Main Components to support the well-being and quality of life in our communities.

  • Creates a grant run state program for MSW field placement stipends
  • Removes the standardized exam requirement at the Master's level (LCSW)  **the licensure level will still exist**
  • Allows LICSWs to receive continuing education credit for providing supervision to LCSWs, MSWs, and BSWs students.
