As you know, the NOPAIN Act was passed by Congress! However, we still have work to do. Please help us as we urge our elected leaders to accelerate the timeline for access to non-opioids, as made possible by the NOPAIN Act. As passed, the timeline for implementation is set for almost two years from now, in January 2025. That is unacceptable, and we cannot afford to wait that long.
The NOPAIN Act passed because of the skyrocketing number of opioid overdose deaths in this country. Every day, approximately 220 people die from an opioid overdose. We must implement the NOPAIN Act as swiftly as possible before more lives are unnecessarily lost.
