Water Resource Recovery Facilities play a crucial role in domestic energy production, water recovery, waste reduction, and nutrient recycling and municipal biosolids are an organic, natural byproduct of the resource recovery process. By utilizing biosolids, utilities can lower costs for ratepayers, strengthen the supply chain for farmers by reducing their reliance on foreign fertilizer, and protect the environment by preventing erosion, resisting drought, and sequestering carbon.
However, most people don't realize this.
Help your Members of Congress understand the benefits of biosolids! Write to your representative and explain how biosolids play a crucial role in producing valuable resources and federal policies can support this.
You can send the message as is, but please take some time to add a sentence at the beginning saying:

- Any credentials you have
- What you do
That will help to establish that you're speaking from a position of authority.
