Action Center
Why are we asking you to take action?
Virginia’s Right-to-Work law is foundational to the construction industry’s ability to operate competitively, control labor costs, and deliver projects efficiently. It ensures workers are not forced to join or financially support a union as a condition of employment and allows contractors flexibility to build the workforce that best fits their projects.
Repealing Right-to-Work harms construction workers.
It would also increase costs, limit workforce flexibility, and make Virginia less competitive with neighboring states, impacting contractors’ ability to bid work, grow their businesses, and deliver public and private projects. Those increased costs ultimately fall on taxpayers, owners, and consumers.
Contact your Senators and Delegates now and urge them to oppose any effort to repeal Right-to-Work.
Virginia’s construction industry depends on a fair, competitive labor environment. Protecting Right-to-Work protects jobs, projects, and the long-term health of the hundreds of thousands of construction workers.
