ATTENTION CONNECTICUT RESIDENTS:
Connecticut Lawmakers have introduced a new bill that would cap rent prices and substantially limit housing options for renters.
When you cap rent prices and act against market economics, you drive down any financial incentive for housing contractors to build new, quality units because they are losing money. With less housing comes fewer options for new or struggling families and young adults.
The assault on freedoms and affordability, and our overall ability to live and thrive in Connecticut, is antithetical to who we are and what we deserve. How much more can we take?
Fill out the form and tell lawmakers in the Housing Committee to VOTE NO on S.B. 138.
