Connecticut simultaneously became one of the highest tax burden states and one with the highest levels of government debt over the past several decades. In 2017, a series of sound fiscal policy reforms have helped keep policymakers out of your pocketbook while also helping bring down our state debt. These so-called "fiscal guardrails" are constantly under threat of being undermined despite the General Assembly's unanimous vote to extend them just last year.

If you want to help keep the fiscal guardrails intact, please let your legislator know that you support them! We know they are hearing from people and organizations that want to see them removed, so it is imperative that you add your voice to the majority of Connecticut residents and businesses who support the guardrails!
