Tell Congress to PASS the Find It Early Act to ensure access to life-saving breast health services for women across the country!  

The Find It Early Act (H.R. 3086) mandates that insurers cover advanced breast imaging – with NO out-of-pocket costs – for women with dense breast tissue after a mammogram. Many women face financial barriers to receiving this essential follow-up care, putting their health at risk. This bill removes those barriers and helps women catch breast cancer early, when it is most treatable.  

As of September 10, 2024, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has mandated that mammography facilities inform patients about breast density. Although almost 40 states and DC require insurance to cover follow-up imaging for dense breasts, many plans still escape these requirements. The Find It Early Act bridges these gaps by requiring nationwide insurance coverage for essential breast imaging, ensuring that women's access to breast health services is not dependent on their state of residence and protects them with consistent coverage across the country.
