Innovative Feed Enhancement and Economic Development Act
The American Feed Industry Association supports the Innovative Feed Enhancement and Economic Development (Innovative FEED) Act which will modernize the pathways for animal food ingredient reviews to help our industry remain globally competitive. This legislation will advance the regulatory environment for animal feed ingredients, which act solely within the animal’s gastrointestinal tract to improve animal production and well-being, reduce pre-harvest food safety concerns and reduce the environmental footprint of animal production by creating a new class of ingredients termed Zootechnical Animal Food Substances (ZAFS). We need your help to urge support in Congress to cosponsor the bill and get it passed!
