The state legislature is considering a bill, SF 394, that would provide legal immunity to chemical companies for the harms caused by pesticides and herbicides. We must oppose this bill!
In the wake of a number of lawsuits filed on behalf of people who got sick from using Roundup, the pesticide industry is fighting back. Their new strategy involves working at the state level to pass legislation that helps shield them from legal liability, much like vaccine manufacturers have been shielded from liability for the damage their products cause. We cannot let the legislature kowtow to the chemical industry at the expense of our health!
