Support the Organ Donation Referral Improvement Act (H.R. 330)
The Organ Donation Referral Improvement Act (H.R. 330) was introduced by Representatives Rob Wittman (R-VA-1), Jennifer McClellan (D-VA-4), Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA-1), and Jim Costa (D-CA-21). The proposed legislation requires the Department of Health and Human Services to conduct and complete a study on hospitals’ use of electronic automated referrals for organ donation, and to submit a report to Congress. The bill also requires identifying staff time savings; evaluating the benefits of using electronic medical records and standardized clinical criteria to identify potential organ donors.

Please contact your Members of Congress today and encourage them to support the Organ Donation Referral Improvement Act. Thank you for your advocacy!
