It is critical that Congress addresses these Medicare cuts as soon as possible.
Fortunately, a group of bipartisan Members of Congress, led by Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) in the Senate and Reps. Greg Murphy, M.D. (R-NC) and Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), have introduced the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2025 (S. 1640/H.R. 879), which would address the cuts that went into effect on January 1 and provide a 2% reimbursement update to Medicare providers this year.
