Ask Congress to Promote Workforce Diversity
The Allied Health Workforce Diversity Act (H.R. 3320/S. 1679) would increase opportunities for individuals who want to become audiologists and speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and who are from underrepresented backgrounds

Recruiting and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce of audiologists and SLPs is an ASHA priority. The Allied Health Workforce Diversity Act is one component that would enable higher education programs for audiology and speech-language pathology to access funding for students who want to enter the professions.
