We need your help to STOP an immigration bill being rammed through the lame duck session of Congress.
The House of Representatives is expected to vote next week on H.R. 3648, the Equal Access to Green Cards for Legal Employment (EAGLE Act) during the lame duck session of Congress. This bill removes per-country caps on the numbers of employment-based green cards available. It also increases the cap on family-based visas from 7% to 15% by allowing the children of aliens to qualify for green cards based on their parent’s application, regardless of their own age.
Additionally, the EAGLE Act will wreak havoc on the employment-based immigration system for applicants from the rest of the world, while shifting more green cards to India and China. It's cronyism for the tech industry to be able to import more foreign workers as they lay off hundreds of thousands of workers here in the United States.
