Local races such as County Commissioner, Cities, Townships, etc., are not covered in this voter guide.

 

June 4, 2024 is Primary Election Day
    in NJ.  Voting Polls open at 6 am and
     close at 8 pm.

 

Early voting in New Jersey.

You have 3 ways to vote this year:

      a) Vote by Mail (or Dropbox)
      b) Vote in person, between May 29-June 2
             Hours: Wed-Sat, 10 am to 8 pm
             Sunday June 2, 10 am to 6 pm
      c) Vote in person on Election Day
           (see your sample ballot for
           location), 6 am to 8 pm

Find the most convenient early voting site in your county and pick the day that works for you.

Every county will provide registered voters with this option for the 2024 Primary Election. They will designate in-person early voting locations that will be open May 29, 2024 – June 2, 2024 (the in-person early voting period). Hours will be Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

 

Secure Ballot Drop Box: Secure Ballot Drop Box: Place it in one of your county’s secure ballot drop boxes by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Dropbox locations can be found at Vote.NJ.Gov.

Board of Elections Office: Deliver your ballot in person to your county’s Board of Elections Office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. County Election Officials’ contact information can be found at Vote.NJ.gov
