Tell your federal legislators to ignore myths about EV's being too expensive
The fossil fuel industry continues to spend millions of dollars on disinformation aimed at slowing our progress fighting the climate emergency. One ploy is to impune electric vehicles as being "too expensive". Please ignore this disinformation.

The truth is many EV's now cost less than the average price of a new gas-powered vehicle. (and the purchase price of EVs is expected to reach parity with new internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEVs) in the mid-2020s).

On average EV's can cost as little as the equivalent of $2 per gallon of gasoline to charge. They are also cheaper to maintain.

EVs will become even more accessible to American families as the used-car market grows - more than 70% of car sales in the U.S. are pre-owned vehicles.

Don't fall for disinformation.
