Climate activists must be aware of Project 2025 and fight vigorously against its provisions. The fossil fuel industry and its political enablers mean to disarm many U.S. climate solutions forever, and have openly stated that their intent is to pump every single drop of oil and natural gas and mine every bit of coal.

Project 2025, if implemented, would not only critically hamstring federal climate action now, but change the law to prevent future presidents from taking action later.  It would also reach into the states and intentionally hamstring our climate efforts for decades to come.

Project 2025 is thus profoundly undemocratic, and comes at a pivotal time in the fight to prevent every possible tenth of a degree of avoided global heating.  

Its authors ignore the fact that a clear majority of Americans are concerned about the emerging climate crisis, and support government and business efforts to fight for the safety and health of our children, grandchildren, and all life!
