Deforestation isn't just driving climate change by destroying some of our most valuable carbon sinks—it's also driving biodiversity loss, human rights violations, and the emergence of infectious diseases. The sooner we put an end to deforestation, the sooner we can protect our ecosystems, local communities, and collective future. The FOREST Act would be a major step toward that outcome.
