Tell your members of Congress to commit to moving important climate bills forward for the next session
Even if they are running for reelection, sitting legislators at both the federal and state levels are considering the bills they want to introduce and carry in the next legislative session. There is no shortage of climate-related legislation needed -- there is so much to be done if we want to accelerate the clean energy transition, increase carbon sequestration, better prepare for the impacts we're already facing, and develop financing solutions to support this work before it becomes vastly more expensive.

In a past action, we asked our legislators to publicly solicit ideas for 2025 bills as an important step in making progress in all of these areas. Now, let's ask them to commit to moving important climate bills forward.

And again, even if a sitting legislator is completing their public service in this role, this issue affects us all. Doing preparatory bill work now will serve their constituents well, as we have so little time to accomplish what we must. We also can't afford to lose any more time letting this remain a partisan issue. So let's ask them all!
