Tell Congress to support the phase-out of single-use plastic in national parks
Plastics make up nearly 80% of the pollution found in our national parks. Over time, they break down into nano- and microplastics, which not only threaten our ecosystems and wildlife, but can leach into our food and water supplies. Plastic production is also responsible for over 5% of global greenhouse gas emissions. It's clear that single-use plastics must be restricted—not encouraged! And especially not in our national parks.
