The No Immunity for Glyphosate Act would counteract President Trump's recent executive order, which aims to increase glyphosate production and grants manufacturers immunity under the Defense Production Act. In other words, even if glyphosate production harms civilians and communities, manufacturers can assert that they were acting in accordance with a federal directive, and avoid being held accountable.

Specifically, the bill would prevent the use of federal funds to administer or enforce the executive order, and reassert that injured civilians have the right to pursue legal action against glyphosate manufacturers.
