Ask Congress to provide oversight regarding EPA's weakening of the Regional Haze Rule
The Regional Haze Rule has helped protect visibility around our national parks and wilderness areas for decades—and thanks to collaborative efforts between state and federal agencies, federal land managers, and other key stakeholders, it has been successful in reducing visibility impairing pollution by more than 1.4 million tons in the last 15 years.

Unfortunately, the EPA's restructuring could make it easier for states to avoid developing and implementing cost-effective pollution controls, emissions reduction measures, and regional haze plans more generally.
