Oppose - AB 1331 (Elhawary) Workplace surveillance
We need your help opposing AB 1331 (Elhawary). AB 1331 prohibits the use of any workplace surveillance tool, which is broadly defined, in areas that are not intended to be private, such as a break room or anywhere employees may congregate while on a break. It also severely limits the ability to monitor property you have employees use, like cell phones, computers or vehicles. The bill is overly broad and applies to every employer in California, both public and private. Please find a sample letter to send to your Assemblymember.
