Ask your member of Congress to reject proposals that would restrict access to Medicaid and put health care out of reach for millions of Americans living with diabetes. 

Nearly one in four people with diabetes rely on Medicaid for access to the care, medications, and technology they need. Proposed federal budget cuts would have far-reaching consequences. As many as 24 percent of Medicaid enrollees have diabetes and rely on this program to receive their care. These cuts could lead to poorly managed diabetes leading to unnecessary and expensive hospitalizations. Loss of care for people with diabetes has devastating impacts and can result in debilitating and expensive complications.  

Congress must protect access to affordable health care for people with diabetes.
