He Targeted Babies: The Heinous Crimes of America's Most Prolific Serial Killer

I was invited to a special showing of  the rough cut of this movie when I was in St. Louis in January.  For anyone wanting to really understand the depth of the abortion industry, this is a 'must see' movie.  Now, it is not gruesome or bloody, do don't worry about that and it is done SO WELL as the story of this man and his activities, not as a dry documentary.  McAleer and his wife Ann McElhinney have done yeoman's work and they NEED the support of the pro-life community. I got to meet Ann at the event.  And....our very own Scottie Nell Hughes is seen in one of the scenes. This is just one more tool to use to continue the rip the scab off this despicable 'industry'!!

LOS ANGELES - Abortionist Kermit Gosnell will spend the rest of his life behind bars for killing potentially hundreds of babies born alive at his Philadelphia clinic.

"You do the math," said filmmaker Phelim McAleer.
"Detectives think he killed hundreds, perhaps thousands of babies over 30 years. So he's America's biggest killer."

According to the grand jury report, Gosnell killed the babies by severing their spinal cords with scissors. Investigators discovered refrigerators full of aborted fetuses in his offices.

Jurors also convicted the 76-year-old of manslaughter after he botched an abortion and killed the 41-year-old patient.

In their bombshell new book, Gosnell: The Untold Story of America's Most Prolific Serial Killer, McAleer and his wife Ann McElhinney highlight in graphic detail the abuses that took place in Gosnell's "Women's Medical Society" clinic.

The couple told CBN News how they came to investigate the case, which was largely ignored by major media outlets.

Being a Voice for the Voiceless
"There's nothing more voiceless than these children that were born alive and murdered by Kermit Gosnell; who cried, who breathed, who moved, who struggled for life, one who swam in a toilet. And the fact that no mainstream media journalist wanted to tell those stories in graphic detail and on and on and on, repeated stories in New York Times is bizarre," said McElhinney.

One journalist who provided coverage for the trial was USA Today columnist Kristen Powers, who criticized fellow reporters.

"You don't have to oppose abortion rights to find late-term abortion abhorrent or to find the Gosnell trial eminently newsworthy," wrote Powers.
"This is not about being 'pro-choice' or 'pro-life.' it's about basic human rights. The deafening silence of too much of the media, once a force for justice in America, is a disgrace."

McElhinney: Attending the Gosnell Trial Was Life-Changing
McAleer and McElhinney also attended the trial; something they admitted was both eye-opening and life-changing, especially for McElhinney, who said she was once very suspicious of pro-lifers.

"When I was younger those images that you'd see from protesters, pro-life activists, there were pictures - very graphic images - and I mistrusted them," she said.

She explained, "I thought, 'They're photoshopped...' We were covering this as journalists, we went through all the evidence, we went through all the trial transcripts and we also went through all the exhibits that were shown during the trial including the photographs of the 47 bodies that were recovered from the clinic...what was very clear to me was the humanity in all those photographs and these were real human beings with little fingers and nails.

These were real people."
"So that changed me."

Dirty Little Secret: Abortion Industry Protects Itself, Not Women
The couple also highlights how the abortion industry protected Gosnell for decades, despite multiple violations at his business.

"The abortion establishment is still protecting the abortion establishment," McAleer said.

"When the National Abortion Federation visited the clinic and saw those horrible and disgusting conditions, rather than call the police, rather than report it, they ignored it," he said.

21-Week Unborn Baby Saved By Heart Surgery Performed In Womb

Amanda Prestigiacomo, April 4, 2017

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia recently performed life-saving heart surgery on a 21-week-old baby while he was still in his mother's womb.

"His heart at the time of surgery was the size of a peanut. The size of the tumor was three-times the size of the heart," Dr. Jack Rychik, the surgeon who worked on baby Juan, told CBS Philly. "Had we waited an additional day, we probably would have been too late."

Baby Juan had the surgery back in October and was born over two months later on December 11 at 31 weeks. Upon his arrival into the world, it was found that the tumor had grown back on his heart. Baby Juan had yet another successful surgery and was eventually declared strong enough to leave the hospital in late March.

President Trump Defunds UNFPA, Which Promotes Abortion and Pushes Population Control in China

Micaiah Bilger   Apr 4, 2017   |   9:42AM    Washington, DC

The Trump administration  announced plans Monday to stop funding the United Nations agency that has been caught promoting forced and coerced abortions and sterilizations in China.

For many years, links have been exposed between the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and China's one-child policy. China's oppressive population control policy, recently changed to a two-child limit, has led to forced and coerced abortions up through nine months of pregnancy, as well as forced and coerced sterilizations.

On Monday, the U.S. State Department sent a letter to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee announcing its plans to stop funding UNFPA because of its support of forced and coerced abortions and sterilizations in China, according to the BBC.

"This determination was made based on the fact that China's family planning policies still involve the use of coercive abortion and involuntary sterilization, and UNFPA partners on family planning activities with the Chinese government agency responsible for these coercive policies," the state department said.
