Islam, Not Christianity, is Saturating Europe

  • Jihadists seem to be leading an assault against freedom and against secular democracies.
  • Sunni Islam's most prominent preacher, Yusuf al Qaradawi, declared that the day will come when, like Constantinople, Rome will be Islamized.
  • It is Islam, not Christianity, that now saturates Europe's landscape and imagination.
According to US President Trump's strategic advisor Steve Bannon, the "Judeo-Christian West is collapsing, it is imploding. And it's imploding on our watch. And the blowback of that is going to be tremendous".
The impotence and the fragility of our civilization is haunting many Europeans as well.

Europe, according to the historian David Engels will face the fate of the ancient Roman Republic: a civil war. Everywhere, Europeans see signs of fracture. Jihadists seem to be leading an assault against freedom and against secular democracies. Fears occupy the collective imagination of Europeans. A survey of more than 10,000 people from ten different European countries has revealed increasing public opposition to Muslim immigration. The Chatham House Royal Institute of International Affairs carried out a survey, asking online respondents their views on the statement that "all further migration from mainly Muslim countries should be stopped". In the 10 European countries surveyed, an average of 55% agreed with the statement.

Mainstream media are now questioning if "Europe fears Muslims more than the United States". The photograph used in the article was a recent Muslim mass prayer in front of Italy's monument, the Coliseum. In echoes of the capture of the great Christian civilization of Byzantium in Constantinople, Sunni Islam's most prominent preacher, Yusuf al Qaradawi, declared that the day will come when Rome will be Islamized.

Do civilizations die from outside or inside? Is their disappearance the result of external aggression (war, natural disasters, epidemics) or of an internal erosion (decay, incompetence, disastrous choices)? Arnold Toynbee, in the last century, was adamant: "Civilizations die from suicide, not by murder".
"The contemporary historian of ancient Greece and ancient Rome saw their civilisations begin their decline and fall, both the Greeks and the Romans attributed it to falling birth rates because nobody wanted the responsibilities of bringing up children," said Britain's former chief rabbi, Lord Sacks.

Everywhere in Europe there are signs of a takeover. Muslim students now outnumber Christian students in more than 30 British church schools. One Anglican primary school has a "100 percent Muslim population". The Church of England estimated that about 20 of its schools have more Muslim students than Christian ones, and 15 Roman Catholic schools have majority Muslim students. In Germany as well, there are fears of a massive Muslim influx into the school system, and German teachers are openly denouncing the threat of a "ghettoization".

France saw 34,000 fewer babies born last year than in 2014, a new report just found. The number of French women having children has reached its lowest level in 40 years. A low fertility rate has become a plague all over Europe: "In 1995 only one country, Italy, had more people over 65 than under 15; today there are 30 and by 2020 that number will hit 35." Welcome to the "Greying of Europe".

5 facts about the Muslim population in Europe
  July 19, 2016

Recent killings in Paris as well as the arrival of hundreds of thousands of mostly Muslim refugees in Europe have drawn renewed attention to the continent's Muslim population. In many European countries, including France, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, concerns about growing Muslim communities have led to calls for restrictions on immigration. But just how large is Europe's Muslim population, and how fast is it growing?

Using the Pew Research Center's most recent population estimates, here are five facts about the size and makeup of the Muslim population in Europe:

1Germany and France have the largest Muslim populations among European Union member countries. As of 2010, there were 4.8 million Muslims in Germany (5.8% of the country's population) and 4.7 million Muslims in France (7.5%). In Europe overall, however, Russia's population of 14 million Muslims (10%) is the largest on the continent.

2The Muslim share of Europe's total population has been increasing steadily. In recent decades, the Muslim share of the population throughout Europe grew about 1 percentage point a decade, from 4% in 1990 to 6% in 2010. This pattern is expected to continue through 2030, when Muslims are projected to make up 8% of Europe's population.

3Muslims are younger than other Europeans. In 2010, the median age of Muslims throughout Europe was 32, eight years younger than the median for all Europeans (40). By contrast, the median age of religiously unaffiliated people in Europe, including atheists, agnostics and those with no religion in particular, was 37. The median age of European Christians was 42

Report: Muslim Brotherhood Paying People to Protest in Europe

By Elliot Friedland Wednesday, August 16, 2017

German police arrested an Egyptian opposition journalist at Berlin's Schoenefeld Airport acting on an Interpol arrest warrant issued by Egypt on Tuesday.

Abdulrahman Ezz was sentenced in absentia by Egyptian courts to 20 years imprisonment. He was charged with incitement to violence, attacking a police station and imprisoning and torturing people after the 2013 popularly-backed coup that saw General Sisi oust Muslim Brotherhood President Muhammed Morsi.

Supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood reportedly immediately began a campaign to release Ezz, according to Egyptian media outlet Al-Bawaba.

The Egyptian German coalition, said to be close to the Muslim Brotherhood, sent two of its members to the airport in Berlin to mediate German authorities to release Ezz. A source told Al-Bawaba that the coalition is coordinating with Amnesty and they will send a representative to the airport in Berlin.

Ezz was released after a few hours of questioning. The German government said Egypt had not provided enough evidence to justify deporting him.

The Muslim Brotherhood reportedly runs campaigns against the Egyptian government internationally, including in cities such as London, New York, Paris and Sydney, according to El-Nada.

Strange twist saved Europe from Muslim invasion in 1571

Bill Federer recounts battles of Lepanto, Spanish Armada

News arrived in Europe in 1571 that Muslim Turks, under the command of Lala Kara Mustafa Pasha, surrounded the Christians in Famagusta, Cyprus. Muslims promised the defenders of Cypus that if they surrendered, they would be allowed to leave. Lala Kara Mustafa Pasha broke his promise by demanding a boy for his pederasty. When denied, he flayed alive the Venetian commander. His Muslim warriors then killed all 6,000 Christians prisoners. He turned the beautiful St. Nicholas Church into the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque.

After this, Turkish Muslims planned on attacking Rome, and from there conquer the rest of western Europe. Pope Pius V used all the influence he had to get the Christian states of Spain, Naples, Sicily, Venice, Genoa, Sardinia, Savoy, Urbino, Papal states, Germans and Croatians to assemble into the Holy League, led by 24-year-old Don John of Austria, the son of King Charles V of Spain. Spain used gold from the New World to fit out its navy to keep the Muslims from taking over the Mediterranean.

On October 7, 1571, the largest and most decisive sea battle on the Mediterranean took place - the Battle of Lepanto off the western coast of Greece. Don John of Austria led the 212 ships with nearly 68,000 soldiers and sailors of the Holy League. Ali Pasha led the Muslim Ottoman Turks, consisting of 82,000 soldiers and sailors on 251 ships powered by thousands of Christian galley slaves rowing under the decks.

This was the last major battle with rowing vessels. The morning of the battle, the Holy League was at a great disadvantage, struggling to row against the wind. Don John led his men on deck in a prayer. Suddenly the wind changed 180 degrees to favor the Holy League.

The Holy League ships collided into Ali Pasha's ships. Fierce fighting went on for hours. Don John sailed his ship Real, into Ali Pasha's ship. Ali Pasha was finally killed and his head was hung from the ship. The Ottoman Muslims lost 200 of their 230 ships. Some 12,000 Christian galley slaves were freed.

Had the Muslims not been defeated, they would have invaded Italy and possibly conquered Europe.

G.K. Chesterton wrote in his poem, "Lepanto":
