Good morning

Well, today, I have to start with a point of personal privilege as I do this email from a hospital room.

Last Wednesday, my husband, Ron, became very ill and was admitted to Vanderbilt Medical Center. He had a severely low hemoglobin and a severe UTI infection.  These two things were really over stressing his heart and causing real problems. The attentive care he has received has been impressive and appreciated. We were in the ER from Wednesday afternoon until Friday afternoon when they finally had an open room for us in the new wing and it is beautiful. Three units of blood and strong antibiotics have finally begun to have some affect and the doctor thought yesterday that he was turning the corner. So maybe he is on the mend.  We DO appreciate the many prayers that have been offered on our behalf.

Court Rules President Trump Can Defund Planned Parenthood, Will Cut Almost $60 Million in Taxpayer Funding

NATIONAL   STEVEN ERTELT   JUN 20, 2019   |   11:40AM    WASHINGTON, DC

A federal appeals court today ruled President Donald Trump can partially defund planned Parenthood while the abortion business' lawsuit against his administration's new rules moves forward.

As LifeNews reported in March, the Trump administration finalized an administrative rule that would partially defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business and deprive it of as much as $60 million in taxpayer dollars. This action adds to President Trump's record of defunding the Planned Parenthood abortion company.

The abortion chain receives about $50 million to $60 million in Title X funds annually, but that could change now that the new rules are being implemented. The administration's changes to Title X family planning grants have angered the abortion chain Planned Parenthood, prompting a lawsuit, but they provide hope for life-affirming pregnancy centers, which can now compete with the abortion giant for the federal funds.

Title X funds are supposed to be used to help low-income women and men receive birth control, cancer screenings and other health care services. While the tax money cannot be used to pay for abortions, it indirectly funds Planned Parenthood's vast abortion business.

Abortion Clinic Loses $500,000 in Taxpayer Dollars After Trump Cuts Planned Parenthood Funding

STATE   MICAIAH BILGER   JUL 31, 2019   |   5:05PM    BOULDER, COLORADO

Planned Parenthood is not the only abortion business that receives tax dollars from Americans every year.

So, when President Donald Trump finalized an administrative rule for Title X grants that prohibits abortion providers from receiving those tax dollars unless they completely separate their abortion businesses from their taxpayer-funded services, the rule cut more than just $60 million from Planned Parenthood's budget.

Other independent abortion facilities also are now barred from the funds unless they separate their abortion work from their actual health services.

It is not clear exactly how much these abortion facilities received each year from taxpayers, but a Denver 9 News report provides some clues.

Boulder Valley Women's Health Center, an independent abortion business in Colorado, told the news outlet that it will give up $500,000 a year in Title X funds rather than comply with the new rule. The facility aborts unborn babies in the first and second trimesters.

Judge Upholds David Daleiden's 1st Amendment Right to Expose Planned Parenthood Aborted Baby Part Sales

NATIONAL   STEVEN ERTELT   JUL 18, 2019   |   2:51PM    WASHINGTON, DC

Undercover investigator David Daleiden has been vindicated in court today against the bogus lawsuit Planned Parenthood filed after his videos exposed the abortion giant for selling aborted baby parts.

Daleiden has maintained from the beginning that he and the Center for Medical Progress followed all applicable laws in the course of its investigative journalism and that the lawsuit was politically-motivated retribution as opposed to a suit based on legitimate damages.

In a big victory for the First Amendment freedoms of citizen journalists on Wednesday evening, a federal judge in San Francisco indicated his intent to decisively cut back Planned Parenthood's retaliatory lawsuit against The Center for Medical Progress for the undercover videos documenting Planned Parenthood's sale of aborted baby parts.

In his tentative ruling, which he instructed the parties to treat as if it were substantially final, Judge William Orrick III rejected Planned Parenthood's false and long-running smear that accused CMP citizen journalists, including David Daleiden, of attempting to incite "threats" and "violence" by publishing the undercover videos.

IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW:

More than 32 years ago, Pam and her husband Bob were serving as missionaries to the Philippines and praying for a fifth child. Pam contracted amoebic dysentery, an infection of the intestine caused by a parasite found in contaminated food or drink.

She went into a coma and was treated with strong antibiotics before they discovered she was pregnant. Doctors urged her to abort the baby for her own safety, telling her the medicines had caused irreversible damage to her baby. She refused the abortion and cited her Christian faith as the reason for her hope that her son would be born without the devastating disabilities physicians predicted.

While pregnant, Pam nearly lost their baby four times, but still refused to consider abortion. She recalled making a pledge to God with her husband: If you will give us a son, we'll name him Timothy and we'll make him a preacher.

Pam ultimately spent the last two months of her pregnancy in bed and eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy August 14, 1987. Pam's youngest son is indeed a preacher. He preaches in prisons, makes hospital visits, and serves with his father's ministry in the Philippines. He also plays football. His name is Tim Tebow! Oh and he's now engaged to miss universe!

Blessings on your day
