"Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual--or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country." DHS: FEMA Does Not Have Funds to Make It Through Hurricane Season, $640M Allotted for Illegal Immigrants

Workers, community members, and business owners clean up debris in the aftermath of Hurric

Hannah Knudsen3 Oct 202

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the remainder of hurricane season, yet $640 million has been allotted to DHS specifically for issues related to illegal immigrants.

“We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds — FEMA does not have the funds — to make it through the season,” Mayorkas revealed.

This is problematic, as hurricane season does not end until November 30. According to Fox News’s Chad Pergram, “Congress made sure FEMA had more than $20 billion in last week’s emergency spending bill ahead of the storm, but last year, Congress awarded DHS $640 million to help communities provide shelter and aid to people in the country illegally.”

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is among those who have sounded the alarm, contending that officials laundered the money for their illegal immigrant pet projects.

“This is not something that has just happened recently,” she said, explaining that “Florida’s been warning about this since this administration took over.”

“Mayorkas has come in like a virus and infected these — what need to be healthy, strong, fundamental programs to ensure the stability and safety of Americans in times of disaster. So you heard, they have taken the FEMA emergency food and shelter program and over time, siphoned off hundreds of millions of dollars into basically making it an illegal immigrant resettlement program,” she revealed, adding that these moves encourage more illegals to come here.

“Biden and Harris are having to fund that on the backs of the American people. And now, right now, in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, all of these states are hurting,” she continued.

At least 190 have been confirmed dead in the aftermath of the storm, which made landfall in Florida’s Big Bend before wreaking havoc as far inland as Asheville, North Carolina, and beyond.

This also comes as the Biden-Harris administration is under fire not only for the lackluster Helene response — Harris actually opted to party with celebrities in Los Angeles in the aftermath of the storm — but for the latest call from the Department of Transportation instructing drone pilots to stop their relief efforts.

Report: 190+ People Dead in Aftermath of Hurricane Helene

Nearly 200 people are reportedly dead after Hurricane Helene slammed the southeast portion of the United States.

NBC News reported on Thursday that 194 people lost their lives amid the destruction the storm brought, with over half of the deaths occurring in North Carolina.

“Hundreds are still missing and officials have reported difficulties in identifying some of the dead,” the outlet said.

It added “President Joe Biden visited North Carolina yesterday and announced that up to 1,000 active-duty soldiers will join the North Carolina National Guard in delivering supplies, food and water to isolated communities.”

Video footage shows floodwaters moving entire buildings, holes in roofs where residents busted through to escape the rising water, and landslides in the mountainous areas, per Today.

“There are significant challenges ahead between three different states; North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, there are roughly still a million people without power,” a reporter on the show said.

The village of Chimney Rock, North Carolina, has been described as being “washed away,” Breitbart News reported on Monday.

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe authorized by former President Donald Trump to help victims of the storm has raised $4,460,640 of its $1,000,000 goal, as of Thursday morning.

Pilot flying Helene rescue missions in NC threatened with arrest

by Jody Barr - 10/03/24 11:49 AM ET

LAKE LURE, N.C. (WJZY) – When Jordan Seidhom woke up Saturday morning, he saw a Facebook post that tens of thousands of people were commenting on and sharing.

A family was stranded on a mountain in Banner Elk, North Carolina. They had run out of water a day earlier and had just enough food to last less than two days.

Seidhom, the former head of the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit, knows a thing or two about finding people. He researched the mountain chain where the family was located and found a place to land using his mapping software.

He loaded bottled water and food into his helicopter and headed toward Banner Elk.

“I thought, I have a helicopter, maybe I can help,” Seidhom told Nexstar’s WJZY

His son, a high school junior, went along. Both are volunteer members of the Sandhills Volunteer Fire Department in Pageland, South Carolina. Seidhom is a Class 1 certified law enforcement officer and a pilot with nearly 1,400 flight hours.

He first contacted the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport’s Air Traffic Control tower to get clearance to fly over the airport. Seidhom said he got the clearance and was allowed to fly over the airport, which is a direct shot to the gap in the mountains he needed to get through to Lake Lure.

Once in the Lake Lure area on Saturday, Seidhom landed at the nearest airport and met with multiple law enforcement officers and first responders to coordinate communication channels with them and to find out what was needed and where he should go to help.

Kamala Harris Announces $750 for Hurricane Helene Victims After Announcing $8B for Ukraine

Vice President Kamala Harris announced $750 in aid for Hurricane Helene victims, just days after her and President Joe Biden’s administration announced $8 billion in a new installment of aid for Ukraine.

Harris spent the weekend campaigning on the West Coast as the hurricane unleashed deadly destruction across the nation’s southwest, killing hundreds of Americans, with hundreds more still missing.

On Wednesday, Harris visited Georgia — two days after former President Donald Trump visited — and announced what many are criticizing as a measly amount of aid for hurricane victims: $750

Harris touted during remarks in Augusta, Georgia, “The federal relief and assistance that we have been providing has included FEMA providing $750 for folks who need immediate needs being met, such as food, baby formula, and the like. And you can apply now.”

The $750 is $50 more than the amount the administration gave the 2023 Maui wildfire victims, which included many who had lost their homes and loved ones.

Just a week ago, the Biden-Harris administration announced $8 billion for Ukraine.

Speaking alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House, Harris said, “We will continue to provide the security assistance Ukraine needs to succeed on the battlefield, as demonstrated by President Biden’s significant announcement earlier today.”

The administration has sent Ukraine at least $175 billion over the last two years since the war began.

The discrepancy in the amount for Hurricane Helene victims and the Ukraine War has prompted harsh criticism of the administration’s poor response.

Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) posted on X:

$750 for Hurricane Helene victims.
$700 for Maui fire victims.
$175 BILLION to Ukraine.
FREE flights, health care, housing, and food for illegal aliens.

Under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, American citizens come last.

Our Government Serves At The Pleasure Of Everyone Except Americans

By: Shawn Fleetwood   October 04, 2024

Biden and Harris’ hatred for rural Helene victims couldn’t be more obvious than if it was painted on Hillary Clinton’s white pantsuit.

Right now, an untold number of Americans throughout several southeastern states are still struggling to acquire basic necessities after Hurricane Helene ripped through the region a week ago — and our government is largely indifferent.

The devastation is nothing short of horrific. As of this article’s publication, officials reported that at least 202 people have died in the disaster, with many more still missing and awaiting rescue.

Among the areas hardest hit are Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina, the latter jurisdiction of which has racked up more deaths than any other state.

Some segments of southern Appalachia were completely submerged. Small towns have been swept away in the catastrophic flooding, leaving entire communities in shambles.

In years prior, the fallout from such a disaster would warrant national, wall-to-wall media coverage and devoted attention from America’s heads of state. But the United States is not the same country it once was.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris had to be practically dragged into disaster response mode after relaxing on the beach and attending campaign fundraisers, respectively, while the Category 4 storm wreaked havoc across the South. The same media that dishonestly and viciously attacked President George W. Bush for his response to Hurricane Katrina seemingly have no problem with Biden and Harris taking nearly a week to visit with victims of Helene’s rampage.

The situation couldn’t be anymore despicable if Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas wasn’t begging Congress to provide the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) with more cash after it shelled out more than a billion in taxpayer dollars servicing illegal aliens. Yes, you read that correctly: our government is claiming it can’t help Americans in need because it spent its disaster relief money on illegal immigrants who willingly violated U.S. sovereignty.

But let’s not pretend this is some kind of random, one-off incident.

The chief guiding principle of the Biden-Harris administration is its deep-seeded hatred for the Americans they’re supposed to serve — particularly those who reside in rural areas and love God and their country. As is often the case, this results in the demands of foreign nationals taking precedence over the needs of the U.S. citizenry.

The administration tells us it only has $750 for the North Carolinian mom who just lost her house to Helene but has been more than happy to ship tens of billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to Ukraine to fight an indefinite war against Russia. When the White House dumped 20,000 Haitians into Springfield, Ohio, it wasn’t the native residents whose livelihoods were upended that got Biden and Harris’ sympathy — it was the Haitians who refused to conform to American culture and caused chaos within the community.

Our Prayers and our action have never been needed any more!!
I posted this on my Facebook pages and after a bit was told that it was an AI piece.

UPDATE: I understand that this is an AI piece, but I think it does just what the creator wanted. It has been a week today since all the damage was done in so many places in the South and he or she doesn't want us to stop praying for these folks and their needs, especially their need for God now.

It is very clever -- it's almost one of those: "Made you look".
Yes it did!! And we read the message and we will pray!!.
