Federal authorities announced Sunday that more than a hundred illegal immigrants were detained in a massive raid at an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs that officials say was "frequented by TdA and MS-13 terrorists."
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Rocky Mountain Division led a multi-agency operation early Sunday morning and arrested 114 illegal immigrants at the venue that contained more than 200 people inside.
Authorities uncovered drugs, including pink cocaine, as well as evidence of prostitution and multiple firearms during the operation, according to the DEA.
"@DHSgov has taken more than 100 illegal aliens into custody," DEA Rocky Mountain said in a post on X on Sunday. "Drugs and weapons have also been seized at this underground nightclub in Colorado Springs."
President Donald Trump commented on the raid in a Truth Social Post on Sunday.
"A big Raid last night on some of the worst people illegally in our Country — Drug Dealers, Murderers, and other Violent Criminals, of all shapes and sizes, and Judges don’t want to send them back to where they came from," Trump wrote in the post. "If we don’t win this battle at the Supreme Court, our Country, as we know it, is FINISHED! It will be a Crime ridden MESS. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
Attorney General Pamela Bondi applauded the operation, which included 300 officials across multiple agencies, including the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
"This morning @DEAHQ apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists," Bondi said in a post on X. "Cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine was seized."
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Springs Police Department were also involved in the operation.

The FBI arrested a Wisconsin judge Friday morning for allegedly hiding a previously deported illegal immigrant in her jury room in order to stop him from being arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested and charged with obstruction of an official proceeding after evidence came to light that she had shielded the migrant from ICE agents, according to a criminal complaint. She was also charged with concealing an individual to prevent discovery and arrest.
Federal agents from ICE, FBI, CBP and DEA attempted to arrest the undocumented male – Mexican national Eduardo Flores-Ruiz – following his scheduled criminal court appearance before Dugan on April 18 to face three misdemeanor battery charges for allegedly beating up two people.
Dugan appeared in federal court in Milwaukee on Friday and made no public comments during the brief hearing, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Her attorney, Craig Mastantuono, told the court: "Judge Dugan wholeheartedly regrets and protests her arrest. It was not made in the interest of public safety." Her next court appearance is May 15.
In a statement, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, a Democrat, accused the Trump administration of removing judges who don't rule in its favor and of repeatedly using "dangerous rhetoric to attack and attempt to undermine our judiciary at every level, including disobeying the highest court in the land."
"I will continue to put my faith in our justice system as this situation plays out in the court of law," he said.
'We're coming for you': Almost 800 arrested in immigration crackdown in Florida

FORT MYERS, Fla. − Almost 800 people have been arrested in the first few days of Operation Tidal Wave, a multi-agency immigration enforcement crackdown in Florida, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement authorities announced.
ICE called the effort a "first-of-its-kind partnership" involving state and federal agencies and local law enforcement. The agency, in a statement Saturday, lauded local police agencies for providing "extraordinary support" for the crackdown that began April 21.
"This is a warning to all criminal illegal aliens: We’re coming for you," Homeland Security Secretary Krisiti Noem wrote in a social media post. "@DHSgov, @ICEgov, and our state partners will hunt you down, arrest and deport you. That’s a promise."
All 67 Florida county sheriffs already agreed to partner with ICE. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called Operation Tidal Wave an example of the "big results on immigration enforcement an deportations" that federal, state and local agencies can accomplish by working together.
Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin said the operation was a "major success" and that more such crackdowns are planned in coming months.
What Is a Sanctuary City...or State?
Allen West | Apr 28, 2025
NOTE: Just so you will know, in 2018, Tennessee Eagle Forum led the opposition to TN becoming a Sanctuary State. The most difficult bill we have ever worked on, mainly because it was opposed by some Republicans, and, as usual, we didn't get everything we wanted, but it finally passed and became Public Chapter Number 973 by the Secretary of State.
It appears that America is at an interesting crossroads. We are struggling, well, some folks are, with understanding that illegal means illegal. If you have committed an action that is illegal, that means you have committed a crime. If you are supporting, advocating, and enabling illegal activities, meaning criminal actions, then you are aiding and abetting illegal actions, meaning supporting crime. Now, correct me if I am wrong, but that seems like a very simple, widely held, and common-sense understanding and explanation.
Well, unless you are a delusional and deranged progressive socialist leftist. Take, for instance, one US Congresswoman named Jasmine Crockett, who thinks she can best President Trump in an IQ test. Rep. Crockett publicly stated that entering our Country illegally is not a crime, to which Border Czar Tom Homan reminded her of the exact statute it violates. So, how can we have legislators (lawmakers) who have no comprehension about what the law is? As Forrest Gump would say, "Stupid is as stupid does."
Now, this delusion is not just relegated to members of the legislative branch, mostly leftist members, mind you. This derangement has also infected the judicial branch. Take, for instance, the most recent head-scratching decision from a black robed unelected jurist. U.S. Federal District Court Judge William Orrick of the Northern District of California, go figure, ruled that the Trump Administration cannot cut federal funding to sanctuary cities. First of all, let's understand that district courts were created by the legislative branch, so they can kinda be reined in by such, that is called checks and balances. Now, perhaps this Judge Orrick, an Obama-appointed judge, can make a ruling that applies to his district jurisdiction, but who is this cheeky fella to believe that he can determine the appropriations of American taxpayer dollars?
And, let's ponder this: what exactly is a "sanctuary city" or state, for that matter?
Well, it appears that the leftists have declared certain geographical areas that they control as sanctuaries for illegal immigrants. Uh oh, going back to our aforementioned assertion, doing something illegal connotes committing a crime. So, are we to believe that these municipalities and states have a constitutional right to harbor criminals? So, if a member of the Taliban, Al Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, or any other Islamic jihadist group designated as a terrorist organization entered into our Nation illegally, this judge believes that a city openly harboring them should receive American taxpayer funding? Dummy me, I thought that harboring a criminal in America was a crime in and of itself. I guess it is also a means to defraud the federal government of taxpayer monies as well.
Fraud or Junk Mail? Prosecutors Call First Witnesses in Trial of Glen Casada
Former aide Cade Cothren was identified as the fictional ‘Matthew Phoenix’ at the center of the consulting scheme
After two days of jury selection, the trial of former House Speaker Glen Casada and his chief of staff, Cade Cothren, dug into the heart of the case.
In his opening statement to the jury, Casada attorney Ed Yarborough painted the situation as a product of the machinations of Casada’s political rival, Cameron Sexton, who succeeded him as Speaker of the House, and argued that Sexton used his relationship with the FBI to take down Casada.
“Mr. Sexton developed a relationship with the FBI on and off for four-and-a-half years,” Yarborough said. “In fact, the last time he met with them was just a few days ago.”
Casada and Cothren face 20 counts of money laundering, bribery, wire fraud, and theft related to the operations of a mailer company, Phoenix Solutions. The company was established after Cothren’s departure from his role on the Speaker’s staff. Casada — along with former Rep. Robin Smith, who pleaded guilty and will be testifying at the trial — allegedly pressured other state House representatives to use Phoenix Solutions to purchase constituent mailers, for which each House member receives a yearly $3,000 stipend. In return, Smith and Casada allegedly received kickbacks from Cothren. However, Yarborough and Cothren’s attorney, Joy Longnecker, both argued on Thursday that everything they did was perfectly legitimate.
“The prosecution has literally made a federal case out of junk mail,” Longnecker said. “What happened in this case was just politics and business as usual on the hill.”
But according to the prosecution, Casada and Cothren’s activities went beyond “business as usual.”
“This is a case about powerful politicians who used their influence to line their pockets,” Federal Prosecutor Taylor Phillips said.
Phillips also confirmed on Thursday that Sexton is expected to take the witness stand on Friday.
Following opening statements from U.S. attorney Taylor Phillips, Yarborough and Longnecker, the government called three witnesses on Thursday: former state Rep. Patsy Hazlewood (R-Signal Mountain), state Rep. Esther Helton-Hayes (R-East Ridge) and state Rep. Jay Reedy (R-Erin). As the prosecution attempted to build its case, the defense portrayed the situation as a matter of political infighting and honest business.
