Biden Administration Might Want to Reconsider Canceling Title 42, As World Health Organization Issues Ominous New Warning
May 03, 2023
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is bracing for an even greater surge of illegal migrants when Title 42 is formally ended on May 11. Title 42 is a public health provision that was invoked at the onset of the COVID pandemic that allows for expulsion of illegal migrants.
Thankfully, the worst of the COVID pandemic is behind us, but in the last few weeks the World Health Organization (WHO) has issued ominous warnings of a new threat to global health. A civil war that is raging in Sudan not only portends more migrants fleeing that country, but, in the words of the WHO, there is a “high risk of biological hazard” that could spread globally. A spokesperson for WHO called “the lab takeover ‘extremely, extremely dangerous’ for the embattled country.”
In the course of the fighting in Sudan, a bio-lab in the capital city of Khartoum has been seized – and it is not even clear who has seized it. What matters most, is that whoever has control of the facility is not qualified to manage it. Additionally, the country’s power grid has been damaged, posing additional risks of release of dangerous materials.
According to the BBC, “Officials said that a broad range of biological and chemical materials are stored in the lab. The facility holds measles and cholera pathogens, as well as other hazardous materials.”
As we all learned from COVID, pathogens don’t stay put; they often cross borders in the bodies of unsuspecting people as they move from one place to another. The fighting in Sudan, combined with the lure of our wide-open borders, will almost certainly result in a growing number of Sudanese nationals attempting to enter the United States. In addition to other risks to the well-being of our country, the public health warning issued by the WHO adds another layer of concern.
Title 42 Set to Expire as Thousands of Migrants Approach Southern Border
May 3, 2023
Title 42, a Trump-era public health order that gives the government power to automatically expel illegal immigrants, is set to expire on May 11, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
With the expiration of Title 42, all illegal immigrants will be processed under the Title 8 immigration law that is more involved and a longer process.
Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas), a Democrat, told The Epoch Times that Title 42 has been ineffective in keeping illegal immigrants from crossing into the United States.
“Title 42, you just expel people and there are no repercussions; they can come right back,” Cuellar said. “Under Title 8, there are some teeth, which means if someone is deported, there will be a five-year, 10-year, 15-year, 20-year ban or more, which means they cannot come back into the country.”
President Joe Biden said in January that his administration will return to the Title 8 order once Title 42 is rolled back: “It’s—my prediction is—it’s not—there’s nothing particularly insightful about this: Title 42 is going to go away before the end of the year, in terms of the Supreme Court, in my prediction. And then we’re going to have to use Title 9—Title 8.”
The Biden administration was quick to roll back many of his predecessor’s border security measures. The rules were introduced as an emergency health measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Caravan
The removal of Title 42 comes as thousands of illegal immigrants have been moving in a caravan throughout Mexico to reach the U.S. border and 1,500 hundred troops have been sent to the border by the Biden administration.
“These characters will likely try to enter the United States by force, so the protocol of the border, which is to safeguard and protect the passage, will be put to the test,” Juan Rojas, a member of the Mexican National Guard, told The Epoch Times.
An estimated over 3,000 migrants from at least 50 countries, including China, will be marching to the U.S. border after Title 42 is rolled back, but the actual figure could be larger than that.
Border crisis laid bare: Patrol chief reveals force seized 54lbs of fentanyl, 19lbs of heroin and 246lbs of meth and arrested 50,000 illegal aliens last week - but 17,000 STILL got away
Border agents say they recovered over 1400lbs worth of drugs in just one week

It comes after executive order from President Biden directing activation of the Army Reserves to help at the southern border
US Border Patrol agents made more than 50,000 arrests in one week - with over 1400lbs of drugs being recovered.
On Friday he said: 'Week in review. 1 agent assaulted, 51,560 apprehensions, 16,985 approx gotaways, $31,000 seized, 614lbs cocaine, 540lbs marijuana, 246lbs meth, 54lbs fentanyl, 19lbs heroin, 10 firearms, 17 sex offenders, 5 gang members. Impressive work!'
Images attached by the Chief shows large quantities of drugs that have been bundled together as well a piles of dollar bills.
According to the Chief, these statistics are for the entire border patrol, including the southern, northern and coastal borders.
Chief Patrol Agent Gloria Chavez, who operates agents along the Gulf of Mexico and the border along the Rio Grande also shared an update on their efforts over the weekend.
Taking to Twitter, Agent Chavez said they had dealt with 6,371 encounters, 10 smuggling cases, arrested 11 principals, one sex offender and two gang members as well as one water rescue and had recovered 60lbs of cocaine.
She also said that one agent had been assaulted over the weekend.
Statistics published by the U.S Customs and Border Protection show that in March of this year there was 257,910 nationwide encounters across all borders.
The figures for March brought the total number of encounters in the U.S. to 1,544,087 this year.
Current trends could see the total number of crossings break last years record of 2.76 million.
The first centers will be located in Colombia and Guatemala, which are two countries that have developed key choke-points for those attempting to transit through in order to migrate to the U.S.
Bad Things Happen When ‘Unaccompanied Alien Children’ Are Unidentified Adults
May 1, 2023
Last week’s congressional hearing on exploitation of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) touched briefly on the sketchy vetting process that ushers them into this country. Rep. John Rutherford, R-Fla., is going deeper for answers.
Though not a member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security and Enforcement, Rutherford is determined to find out exactly how the Border Patrol handles adult migrants who claim to be minors. The Jacksonville congressman has a particular interest in this after a 24-year-old Honduran man posing as a UAC killed a resident in his district.
“The [Border Patrol’s] default position seems to be, ‘If you can’t figure out who they are, let them in,’” Rutherford says. “It’s just unacceptable to me that somebody gets to come to America, comes across the border illegally, and we have no idea who they are.”
In 2021, a migrant presenting himself as Reynel Alexander Hernandez, age 17, was released at the southern border and flown to Jacksonville to live with a man he claimed to be his uncle. Months later, after “Hernandez” was arrested by Florida authorities for the murder of Francisco Javier Cuellar, authorities learned his real name was Yery Noel Medina Ulloa, age 24.
This phony UAC now has his U.S. residence at a Florida penitentiary, where he is serving a 60-year prison sentence.
Rutherford wants U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to publicly disclose its general orders, operating procedures and training for how agents carry out background checks on migrants who claim, without proof, to be 17 years old or younger.
Under U.S. law, minors from countries other than Mexico and Canada cannot be deported. Medina Ulloa undoubtedly understood this, since he lied about being seven years younger than he was.
Tennessee U.S. Rep. Mark Green Blasts President Biden for Sending Troops to the Southern Border to Help Move Illegals into Country
Tennessee U.S. Representative and chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security Mark Green (R-TN-07) condemned the Biden administration for approving an increase of 1,500 military personnel to “supplement U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) efforts” on the U.S.-Mexico border.
Green accused the Biden administration of “using our troops to facilitate the demise of our homeland security, instead of securing our borders.”
“By having our men and women in uniform do administrative work to help move illegal aliens into the interior of the country quicker, President Biden is now using our troops to facilitate the demise of our homeland security, instead of securing our borders,” Green stated.
“On January 20, 2021, the number of Border Patrol agents didn’t change and the CBP-enacted budget has remained the same. What changed was the removal of key policies that promoted law and order and ensured the security of the U.S. homeland,” Green added.
The Tennessee congressman said, “Don’t be fooled, Secretary Mayorkas and President Biden deliberately and intentionally created this historic crisis. It is amazing the lengths they will go to avoid implementing the last administration’s successful border security policies. The real question remains: why would President Biden be sending the military somewhere that isn’t in ‘crisis’ mode?”
The deployment comes as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is anticipating an increase in migration due to the lifting of Title 42 next week.

FRANCES ARTHUR FB PAGE: Scrolling through Facebook this morning, and I love seeing all of the prom pictures! It's exciting to see how grown-up they are!!!
After prom comes graduation. Do you have a gift ready yet? If not, please take a look at this book. It is a great gift for students for their graduation, or even as they begin their senior year.
This working journal will give them not only information that they need, but also provides opportunities at the end of each chapter to respond to that information. Every chapter concludes with hard questions to make the student consider things like what they believe about issues, why they believe as they do, and how they plan to use that in their adulthood.
The chapters on marriage contain topics they will encounter in relationships, and questions to consider before they decide to marry. Few people realize the importance of making this lifelong decision, and fewer understand how to go about choosing their spouse. These chapters will help clear the path.
The chapter on how to vote is my favorite!! I spent hours developing charts for the reader to fill in as they consider each issue important to them, and each candidate writer. Once they complete the matrix, they will know for whom to cast their vote without ever worrying over a political party!
This book is available in hardback, paperback, and as an e-book on Amazon and other book sellers.
