Colorectal cancer is now the number one cause of cancer death for all Americans under the age of 50 and the second leading cause of cancer death for men and women combined. Despite the incredibly high burden of this disease, federal research dollars are disproportionately low for colorectal cancer.  

For those facing colorectal cancer, more research means more treatment options and more time with loved ones.  

The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) conducts high impact, high reward research, but colorectal cancer is the only top five cancer killer not to have its own research program. 

Ask your members of Congress to support the creation of a Colorectal Cancer Research Program within the CDMRP to invest in lifesaving colorectal cancer research today!
