Don't let Congress Leave CRC Research Behind!
The House of Representatives did not create a standalone CRC research program in their funding bill, but there is still time for the Senate to create one. 

The Senate is currently drafting the FY27 Defense Appropriations bill, and it is not too late to urge your Senator to advance lifesaving colorectal cancer research.  

Colorectal cancer is now the leading cause of cancer death for Americans under age 50, yet it remains the only top five cancer killer without its own dedicated CDMRP research program. As rates of early-onset colorectal cancer continue to rise, researchers urgently need dedicated funding to better understand, prevent, and treat this disease.

Reach out to your Senators today and urge support for establishing a standalone Colorectal Cancer Research Program within the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). Be sure to personalize your message and tell your senators exactly why this research matters to you!
