Spotlighting New Schools

In honor of National School Choice Week and the expanding educational options in Iowa, over the next few months we will highlight brand-new Christian schools that will be opening in the 2025-26 school year. 

Tama Toledo Christian

The Tama-Toledo Christian School is an accredited K-8 independent, non-denominational Christian school. TTCS is here to serve the entire Christian community in the area. The school's mission is to assist families in equipping students with a Christ-centered and Biblical worldview education, while preparing them to impact the world for the glory of God through life-long learning, servant leadership, worship, and stewardship.

Waverly Christian School 

The mission of Waverly Christian School is to equip with absolute truth, empower with education, and engage with the world.

The accredited school will serve Kindergarten through 5th grade for the 2025-2026 school year with plans to add 6th grade the following year and additional grades in subsequent years. The goal of Waverly Christian School is to eventually serve grades K-12.

The legislative session kicked off on January 13, 2025. At IACS, we are steadfast in our commitment to safeguarding Christian schools from legislation that may have adverse impacts while championing policies that drive positive change. We are tracking and weighing in on bills as they are introduced this session.
