MARK THE DATE - IADA LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE - MAY 7, 2013
IADA Chairman Gary Knight, Danville, urges all dealers to get involved with the legislative process and help shape the outcome of dealer issues by registering yourself and key management personnel for IADA’s Legislative Conference May 7th in Springfield.
Not only will you be updated on the latest legislative initiatives impacting your dealership you will learn what the ideal new-car dealership of 2025 will look like and how will it operate!
Much different from the dealership of today, according to the National Automobile Dealers Association's phase two facility study. The report says the ideal store of the future will sell more vehicles from the same-sized showroom -- a generic box that can be adapted at minimal expense to changing manufacturer standards, maintain a satellite service center and downtown demonstrator outlet to give customers more choice in how to shop for and repair their vehicles, move support functions off-site to lower-cost property.
IADA has arranged to have author Glenn Mercer join us for an informative update regarding the Phase II Facility Study and what the dealership of the future will look like.
Make plans to join us – registration information coming soon!

IADA RECOGNIZED AT NADA CONFERENCE
IADA’s NADA Director Jamie Auffenberg, O’Fallon and President Pete Sander were recognized during the NADA Recognition Luncheon, held during the NADA Orlando Convention, for IADA reaching our 2012 DEAC fundraising goals and increasing our NADA membership penetration.
As you know, DEAC spends your money to elect and support members of Congress who are pro-business. It's essential in accessing political leaders and helps us represent dealer concerns before Congress.
On behalf of our IADA DEAC Team – IADA Chairman Gary Knight, Danville; NADA Director Jamie Auffenberg, O’Fallon and DEAC Co-Chairman Bill Abbott, Monticello; Jim Lombardi, Wilmington and Sam Roberts, Alton, we thank everyone for their support of DEAC. A detailed listing of contributors can be found on our website at www.illinoisdealers.com.
